Going Viral
On a seemingly normal day in Wuhan, China near the end of the last decade, a deadly new virus that infects humans unknowingly began slowly spreading from person to person.
It was mostly contained to China, and the outside world had no idea that it even existed, however, at the beginning of 2020, cases began appearing beyond China’s borders.
By April, the pandemic had swept across the entire world, and life as we knew it changed forever.
We have been confined to our home, had to wear masks and other forms of protection whenever we leave home, our education has been affected, and many of us have lost our jobs due to this worldwide pandemic.
Through the use of self-portraiture, this darker toned photographic exhibition explores some of the different effects of the pandemic, and how humanity has changed during these times.
